Founder of OzAccounts and Kevin’s business partner, I started my career in education as secondary teacher and then a vocational trainer in the TAFE sector. As a mother of 2 small children, I started a software training company and later used my accounting knowledge to branch out into Accounting software consulting in the mid 1990s. Since then, I have trained hundreds of businesses across a myriad of industries to use accounting software to manage their business finances. In 2018, the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers awarded me a fellowship in recognition of my contribution in furthering the goals of the institute “Bookkeepers helping bookkeepers help business”.
I am the business software “guru” in the business and hold certifications in MYOB, QBO, Xero, Reckon as well as having hands on expertise with many other third party accounting software add-ons such as Vend, Deputy, T-sheets, Keypay, Kounta, Service-M8 and Dear Inventory, just to name a few.
When I am not training or supporting clients, I can be found reading biographies, taking my mini schnauzer on long walks, in the garden or planning my family’s next holiday adventure. My now grown up daughters are fashion designers living in London, so I find myself fashion instagrammaing a lot.
